Seder at Home

Songs, games, stories and fun! Join us for a virtual seder.

To prepare you will need:
  • Two candles
  • Grape juice (or another kind of juice)
  • A raw green vegetable such as parsley, celery or cucumber
  • Salt water
  • Bitter herbs: horseradish, a raw radish, or another bitter food
  • Charoset: Chop an apple or another fruit into small pieces (and add some cinnamon if you want to get fancy)
  • Matzah: If you don’t have matzah you can print a piece here! Or make your own by following these directions.
  • A cloth or napkin to cover the matzah
  • Seder plate: A paper one to print, color, and cut at home...or bring one you already have!
  • Cups for all, plus an extra for Elijah and/or Miriam

No need for a printed haggadah. Everything you need is included in the video. If you would like a haggadah to print, here are a few options designed for families with children:
  • PJ Library In Every Generation Family Haggadah
  • TBS Children's Center Haggadah
  • Kveller Haggadah: A Seder for Curious Kids
